Dear Friends and Neighbors –

Happy New Year! I cannot believe we are already in 2020 and I am very excited for the new decade. I would like to share with you some of my goals for this year:

My first priority is communicating to and hearing from you, the residents of Placer County and District 1. I will continue to listen for concerns or issues facing our community.

Forest management is also a priority for me. This includes wildfire and insurance issues for residents in the foothills and eastern portion of our county.

I will continue working with local cities and organizations to tackle the homelessness issue. We made great progress in 2019 and will build on that momentum this year.

Finally, I have made the Baseline Road improvements, including signalization of stop-sign intersections and widening, a top priority for 2020.

I will keep you updated throughout the year on progress we make. I am honored to serve as your Supervisor and look forward to working with you to accomplish these goals.

Have a very safe and happy new year!

Sincerely,

Bonnie Gore
Placer County Supervisor, District 1
