Organization Mission:

Advocates for Mentally Ill Housing, Inc (AMIH) is a Placer County based non-profit organization seeking to enrich the lives of people with mental illness through housing, employment, and supportive services.

Position Summary:

AMIH is seeking a single adult to act as a House Liaison for our short term respite "Monarch" house. This Individual will reside in a 2 story, 3 bed, 2 bath home in Roseville, CA. The liaison will have his/her own bedroom and be expected to occupy/reside in the residence on a nightly basis for the majority of the time. Two rooms will be available for placement of individuals with mental illness up to five individuals may be residing there at a time. The clients may reside in the home for up to two weeks. The Liaison will orient new residents to the home and work cooperatively with AMIH and ASOC to communicate the client’s welfare on an as needed basis.

Qualifications Required:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Personal or work experience with the mental health field.

• Willingness to complete job related tasks and accept training.

• Completion of formal or informal education sufficient to assure the ability to read and write English at the level required for successful job performance.

• A positive attitude, and works well with different personalities and cultures.

• Some knowledge of computers, MS Office, or email.

• Fingerprints, drug and alcohol testing, and criminal background checks are required pre-employment.
