EBCE is game title sponsor; big announcement on climate
Oakland Roots are playing LA Galaxy II this Saturday, September 18 at 7:00 pm. EBCE will be there in force - join us at Laney College! We just announced that we are the Clean Energy Partner of Oakland Roots and Saturday is our title game as a sponsor. Join us in showing some support for our local professional soccer team:
- EBCE is handing out Roots/EBCE co-branded sunglasses made of recycled plastic
- Performance by Grammy nominated artist Kossisko, with a special guest appearance
- Special announcement from Oakland Roots about their sustainability efforts
- Featured non-profit of the game, Rising Sun Center for Opportunity, to receive $510 for every goal scored by the Roots.

Low rates, green power! Each year, EBCE and PG&E prepare and distribute a comparison of rates and power mix. We send these to every customer: by email to those with an email address on file with PG&E, and by postcard to everyone else.

Community Solar Request for Offers
East Bay Community Energy is soliciting competitive proposals for the sale and purchase of renewable energy for both the Disadvantaged Communities Green Tariff (“DAC-GT”) and Community Solar Green Tariff (“CSGT”) programs. EBCE is issuing this RFO to procure up to 5.726 MW for the DAC-GT program and 1.5625 MW for the CSGT program for a contract term of 10, 15, or 20 years. EBCE seeks energy and related products from new construction resources located in our service area. Details at ebce.org/communitysolarrfo.
