Volunteer Appreciation Day

We held our annual Volunteer Appreciation Day at the end of January.

Each year, we recognize the numerous volunteers that have assisted at our events. From long hours to unpredictable weather, these volunteers have helped us provide resources and services to District 4 residents. We celebrated their hard work with a fun day at Camelot Golfland.

Thank you to each volunteer for your immeasurable hard work this past year.

Valentine's Day Marriage Ceremonies

I had the pleasure of joining the Clerk Recorder at his Anaheim Branch Office to officiate weddings for six happy couples this Valentine’s Day. It was a wonderful day to celebrate love and marriage.

Thank you to the Clerk Recorder’s Office for creating a lovely and memorable Valentine's Day. Congratulations to all the happy couples who decided to get married.

Lunar New Year Festival at Advance Beauty College

Office Ambassador Paulette and I had the pleasure of attending the Lunar New Year Festival in Garden Grove.

Hosted by Advance Beauty College, this celebration commemorated the beginning of the Year of the Fire Horse, a rare occurrence that happens every 60 years. Complete with beautiful flowers, delicious food, and performances celebrating the Lunar New Year, this festival was a wonderful way to start the new year and welcome the spring season.

Happy Lunar New Year and I wish everyone a lucky Year of the Horse!

Pet of the Week
Meet Amber!

Amber is a 4-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix who can be a little shy at first. She quickly warms up, showing off her energetic and playful side. She keeps an eye on her person even as she zooms around in circles. Amber is working on fine-tuning her leash skills and knows half of “fetch.” She races after the ball, noses it around a bit, and proudly trots back, leaving the ball behind. Amber, who has a blue eye and brown eye, came to OC Animal Care in September and is ready for an active family who can keep up with her playfulness.

If you’re ready to foster-to-adopt Amber, or adopt her outright, call OC Animal Care at (714) 935-6848 and mention Animal ID A1932112 to get started or go to Pet Adoption Information | OC Animal Care. Adoption fees are waived for dogs over 25 pounds, like Amber!
