Angel's Mental Health Panel |

On Friday, September 5th, I joined the OC Health Care Agency, Supervisor Vicente Sarmiento and Angel's Baseball for a Mental Health Panel.
HCA Director, Dr. Veronica Kelley, and Angels players, Logan O’Hoppe and Ben Joyce, advocated for the importance of asking for support when experiencing mental health struggles. It was a great event to raise awareness about the importance of mental health in sports and for men. We are very fortunate to have Angels Baseball as one of our health care partners!
Hopefully through the conversations with the players, more fans will prioritize their mental health. Thank you to the Angels players and Dr. Kelley for speaking about such an important topic!

Mobility 21 Summit |

On September 12th, 2025, I had the honor of attending both the Mobility 21 VIP Reception and the annual Mobility 21 Summit, hosted at the Disneyland Hotel. This year’s Summit carried the theme “The Power of Partnership” and it was a clear reminder that when local, regional and state partners come together, we can achieve meaningful progress in building a safer, more efficient, and sustainable transportation system for Southern California.
As Chair of the Orange County Transportation Authority Board, I had the honor of delivering welcome remarks to kick off the summit. I was also invited to participate in the Regional Transportation Board Chair’s roundtable session where I had the opportunity to share insight on how we are working to expand and improve public transit in Orange County.
Thank you to Mobility 21, regional transportation partners, and everyone working to build a stronger mobility network for Southern California.

La Habra Children's Museum Open House |

On Monday, Office Ambassador Paulette Chaffee and I visited the La Habra Children’s Museum Open House.
The museum is an interactive enrichment center for young children to spark creativity, imagination, and develop new skills through play.
New exhibits and creative spaces were open to explore for supporters and volunteers, who were delighted with the new renovations. With an increased number of visits from schools and children over the last year, we are excited to see La Habra’s Children’s Museum be a center for growth and creative exploration!
