My Board, Committee and Commission
appointments to help constituents
I’ve been appointed to the following committees to better serve you. Please contact my office if you need assistance or have questions in any of these areas:
South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD)
Regulates air quality for 17 million people within the Counties of Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside including the Coachella Valley. The board has 13 members (ten elected officials and four County Supervisors)
Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA)
The County’s fire department, emergency and air support. It serves 23 cities of 2 million residents in the County.
Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA)
Manages funding and implements transit and capital projects, including freeway expansions, carpool lanes and bus and rail projects.
Commission to Address Homelessness
Finding solutions to end homelessness by collaborating with lawmakers, prosecutors, law enforcement and the community.
CalOptima
Medical, Medicare and PACE healthcare provider for one million low-income families, seniors and people with disabilities in the county.
Orange County Sanitation District
Provides wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal services in addition to monitoring urban runoff into the ocean.
Orange County Emergency Management Council
Develops and directs plans for local emergencies and natural disasters, including making recommendations to the Board of Supervisors during emergencies.
South Orange County Watershed Management Area Executive Committee
Provides strategic direction for environmental programs in the watershed and responsible for securing federal and state funding.
