The Office of Care Coordination is sharing the COVID-19 Guidance for Shelter Providers In Orange County on behalf of the Orange County Health Care Agency, Public Health Services Communicable Disease Control.
Please Note, this guidance, developed in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and California Department of Public Health recommendations, is for use by emergency shelter providers in anticipation of discontinuation of the Illumination Foundation Temporary Isolation Program on June 30, 2023.

For general Communicable Disease inquiries or to report an unusual occurrence or outbreak in your shelter, please call the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Communicable Disease Control Division available 24 hours a day, year-round at 714-834-8180 and ask to speak to the Nurse of the Day (NOD). Please have the name and contact information for the emergency shelter designated point of contact available.
