The Epic Crush of Genie Lo by F.C. Yee
Genie just wants to get out of high school and into a really good college. Normal for a teenage girl, right? A transfer student from China fills her in on what she doesn’t know about Chinese Mythology – including her own part in saving her neighborhood. Turns out she’s more than just a regular kid. She may have the power to save the world, but she has to do it in her own way – which is pretty funny. Rita hopes you’ll like this book if you like action-packed adventure combined with humor.
