Rita Recommends: Adult Book
How Not to Die Alone by Richard Roper
Rita absolutely loved this British comedy-romance! In this unconventional romcom, Andrew’s job sends him searching for the next-of-kin of people who die alone. It’s a grim career, and his personal life’s no better, so he invents tales of a nonexistent wife and family to tell his coworkers about. It’s only when the charming Peggy joins the team that Andrew realizes his lies will cost him. The characters are super likable, the story is heartwarming, and the humor genuinely made Rita laugh out loud.
