2026 State of the City
The Ontario 2026 State of the City took place on March 18, 2026. During the event, the City showcased how it is advancing key priorities, from public safety and economic development to infrastructure and community investment. New neighborhoods are coming online, public spaces are expanding, and projects are moving forward across the city.
The opening of ONT Field and continued development of the Ontario Sports Empire mark an important step in creating new opportunities for sports, entertainment, and year-round experiences. These efforts reflect a shared commitment to strengthening Ontario today while preparing for what’s ahead.

Ontario Tower Buzzers Opening Day
The Ontario Tower Buzzers, the Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, will celebrate their Opening Day on April 2, 2026, marking the start of professional baseball in Ontario.
Ontario Foreign Trade Zone 50 Forum
 The City of Ontario, Port of Long Beach, and Ontario International Airport present a complimentary half-day forum for manufacturers and international firms exploring U.S. expansion and Foreign Trade Zone strategy.

West Coast Sour Dough Grand Opening
West Coast Sourdough at 2780 E Riverside Dr. Suite A. West Coast Sourdough specializes in baked fresh sourdough that is completely natural and free of preservatives. They offer sandwiches, sourdough flatbreads, salads, soups & mac and cheese.

2026 Manufacturing Innovation Awards
Manufacturers are invited to apply for the Manufacturing Innovation Awards, which recognize local manufacturers for innovation and results. One manufacturer in the Inland Empire will be selected in each category: Resource or Process Innovation, Product Innovation, Human Capital/Talent Innovation, and Marketing Innovation.
Applications are due by April 15, 2026.
Genesis for Good Catalyst Empowerment Grant
The Genesis for Good Catalyst Empowerment Grant is a small business grant program designed to support small businesses and entrepreneurs in low‑to‑moderate income communities in four Southern California counties.
The grant program will award grants of up to $10,000 to eligible small businesses and entrepreneurs to help improve their business infrastructure, accelerate economic growth, and enhance their capacity to create jobs, scale, and make a more significant impact on their communities.
