A New Landmark at ONT Marks a Decade of Local Control
In celebration of the 10-year anniversary of reclaiming Ontario International Airport (ONT). ONT now welcomes visitors with a new monument sign at its Archibald Avenue entrance. For more than 27 years, a narrow sign installed in 1998 by the airport’s previous owner marked the campus—often unnoticed by those arriving.
Since local control was restored in 2016, ONT has continued its revitalization efforts. As the airport marks a decade under local leadership, the new monument sign serves as a visible symbol of that progress, ensuring visitors know they have arrived at a renewed Ontario International Airport.
Ontario Ranch Ranked Among Top Master-Planned Communities Nationwide
Ontario Ranch has been recognized as the 11th best-selling master-planned community in the nation by John Burns Research and Consulting. This ranking reflects the collective efforts of the Ontario Ranch partnership, including the Lewis Group, Lennar, RCCD, Richland, Brookfield, and Stratham.
While national master-planned community home sales declined year over year, top-performing communities continued to show strong demand. Ontario Ranch’s performance highlights the value of coordinated planning, established infrastructure, and long-term community investment. The City of Ontario thanks its partners and development teams for their continued collaboration and commitment to the success of Ontario Ranch.
