 Businesses are invited to join this yearâs Trunk or Treat event at Westwind Park, 2455 E. Riverside Drive, on Friday, October 24, from 4:30â8:00 PM. Entries are $100 and include candy for trick-or-treaters. Businesses are encouraged to bring decorations, promotional materials, and creativity. Prizes will be awarded for the best-decorated trunks.
The entry deadline is October 10, 2025, or until all spaces are filled.

7a Loans
The 7(a) Loan Program is the U.S. Small Business Administrationâs (SBA) primary business loan program. It provides loan guarantees to lenders, making it easier for small businesses to access financing.
Uses of 7(a) Loans:

Acquire, refinance, or improve real estate and buildings
-
Access short- and long-term working capital
-
Refinance existing business debt
-
Purchase and install machinery, equipment, or AI-related technology
-
Purchase furniture, fixtures, and supplies
-
Finance changes of ownership (complete or partial)
-
Combine multiple purposes into one loan
The maximum loan amount is $5 million. Eligibility is based on the type of business, credit history, and location. Lenders may also recommend applicants for the SBA 7(a) Working Capital Pilot (WCP) loan if eligible.
504 loans
The 504 Loan Program provides long-term, fixed-rate financing for major fixed assets that support business growth and job creation. These loans are available exclusively through Certified Development Companies (CDCs), which are nonprofit organizations certified and regulated by the SBA.
Loan Details:

Maximum loan amount: $5.5 million

Use of funds: Purchase, improve, or refinance owner-occupied commercial real estate and fixed equipment

Down payment: As little as 10%
Loans are not available for businesses engaged in nonprofit, passive, or speculative activities. Businesses should contact a Certified Development Company for more information.
