October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month
Cyber Tip: Don’t Take the Bait!
Hackers often use convincing emails and links to trick you into sharing personal information or downloading harmful files. Stay alert and protect yourself with these quick tips:
-
Hover before you click. Place your mouse over any link (without clicking) to preview the address. If it looks suspicious, don’t open it.
-
Be wary of urgent messages. Emails that demand you click, call, or open attachments immediately are a red flag.
-
Verify the sender. If you don’t recognize who is contacting you, pause and double-check before responding.
-
Check the email domain. Hackers often disguise themselves by making subtle changes to legitimate company domains.
Stay smart, stay safe, and remember: when in doubt, don’t click!

🚨 Urgent Help Needed – Support Ontario’s New Animal Resource Center! 🚨
New to our area, the Animal Resource Center of the Inland Empire (ARC) began serving the City of Ontario on July 1—and they need your help now more than ever.
The center is currently caring for nearly 300 animals, and the numbers continue to rise. While the community has already shown incredible support, we’re at a critical point and urgently need:
🐾 Adopters 🐾 Foster families 🐾 Volunteers and community support
These animals are already here in Ontario and need safe, loving homes today. If you’ve ever considered fostering, now is the time to step in and make a difference.
Let’s come together and show what Ontario can do. Every action helps—and every animal matters.
