Ontario Baseball Club to Host Launch Party
 The Ontario Professional Baseball Club will host a free community celebration on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at Ontario Town Square. The event will unveil the team’s name, mascot, and merchandise.
The evening will include live music, a drone show, and special appearances as the countdown begins for Opening Day at the new stadium in April 2026.

Submissions must include the specific rate increase opposed, parcel number and/or service address, name, and signature. Objections must state that they are objections and specify the grounds for alleging noncompliance with Proposition 218. See the Public Hearing Notice at ontarioca.gov/OMUC.
Attend the Public Hearing – The public may attend and comment on the proposed rate adjustments. Verbal comments alone do not qualify as formal protests.
Dave & Busters Grand Re-Opening
 Dave & Buster’s has opened its newly updated location in Ontario at 4821 Mills Circle. The venue features game suites, expanded viewing areas, a revised menu, and a redesigned layout.
Visitors can reserve Private Game Suites with options like High Tech Darts and Social Shuffleboard, try the Human Crane experience, or watch live sports on a 40-foot screen with surround sound. The Midway includes over 120 games, VR experiences, and a prize center. Food and drinks are available throughout the space.
Animal Resource Center Ribbon Cutting
 The Animal Resource Center of the Inland Empire (ARC) located at 1630 Shearwater Street, recently held its grand opening and ribbon cutting. In its first month of operation in July, ARC cared for 866 animals and responded to 1,200 service calls.
Established in 2024 by the cities of Chino and Ontario, ARC now serves Chino Hills, Montclair, and unincorporated areas of west San Bernardino County. The agency provides services to more than 300,000 residents across nearly 100 square miles. Pets available for adoption can be found on the ARC website here.
La Carniceria Meat Market Opens in Ontario
 La Carniceria Meat Market recently opened at 2529 S. Euclid Ave in Ontario. The market offers a range of meat cuts, including Japanese Wagyu, ranchera, tomahawk, tasajo, short ribs, Australian Wagyu ribeye, bone marrow, Japanese filet mignon, and Kobe beef. In-house seasonings for beef and chicken, along with a selection of salsas, are also available.

Golden Echo Academy
Golden Echo Academy has opened at 2550 S. Archibald Ave, Suite D. The academy serves students in grades 1 through 6 with after-school courses in music. Programs focus on music education and skill development while supporting academic growth. Students receive instruction designed to build foundational skills and encourage continued learning. The academy also provides structured time for exploration and creative practice.

California STEP Grant Round 4
The California State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) grant supports small businesses aiming to grow through international trade. Eligible California businesses can apply to participate in up to two STEP events per federal fiscal year and may also qualify for Export Vouchers covering up to 75% of pre-approved export-related expenses, with a maximum reimbursement of $10,000.
The Round 4 application period for Export Vouchers is open from June 1 to August 29, 2025, for activities occurring between September 1 and September 30, 2025.
Food Production Investment Program (FPIP)
California food processors may qualify for up to $2.5 million in funding through the Food Production Investment Program (FPIP), administered by the California Energy Commission. The program supports projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions through facility improvements.
Grants cover up to 75% of eligible costs for qualified projects, with funding ranging from $1 million to $2.5 million per project. Applications are due by Friday, September 12, 2025. Eligible projects include industrial heat pumps, microgrids, mechanical dewatering, motors and controls, refrigeration, process insulation, waste-to-power systems, wastewater treatment, fuel switching, and electrification.

Business Preparedness Program
 The Ontario Fire Department’s Office of Emergency Management will host the CORE Seminar (Continuity & Organizational Resilience in Emergencies) on Tuesday, August 26, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Ontario Police Department Community Room, 2500 South Archibald Avenue, Ontario, CA 91761.
This free workshop is open to businesses, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations. Participants will learn how to protect assets, maintain operations during disruptions, and promote employee safety and preparedness. Lunch will be provided.
E-Commerce Bootcamp
Start your e-commerce journey with this six-week boot camp. The program covers e-commerce platforms, market trends, and step-by-step guidance to build and operate an online store. Participants will also explore digital marketing methods, customer experience strategies, and sales techniques.
The series ends with a capstone project where participants develop and present a business plan using what they’ve learned. This program is open to individuals interested in launching or growing an online business.
