Ontario's Minor League Ballpark Complex is Taking Shape
Construction is progressing on the Ontario Sports Empire, a transformative 200-acre sports and entertainment complex set to open in April 2026. Anchored by a new 6,000-seat minor league baseball stadium—home to the Los Angeles Dodgers' Single-A affiliate—the $151 million development will feature a wide array of amenities, including soccer, baseball, football, and softball fields; basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts; an aquatics center; and a youth sports training facility.
The project is anticipated to attract approximately 1.2 million visitors annually, generate around $6.2 million in economic impact, and support over 600 jobs. In addition to sports facilities, plans include pedestrian-oriented commercial development with restaurants, bars, and retail spaces, enhancing Ontario's appeal as a regional destination.
