Ontario Breaks Ground on the Largest Multi-Use Sports Complex on the West Coast
 The City of Ontario has officially broken ground on the Ontario Sports Empire, a 200-acre state-of-the-art facility along Riverside Dr. Set to open in Fall 2026, the complex will be home to a new professional baseball stadium, serving as the future home of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Single-A Minor League Baseball affiliate team.
Designed as a premier destination for regional and national tournaments, the complex will feature:
- 20 long fields
- 14 youth diamonds
- 8 full-size diamonds
- 4 football/rugby fields
- 2 championship diamonds
Ontario Sports Empire is expected to attract 1.2 million visitors annually, generate $1.5 million in new tax revenue, and create 610 full-time jobs. The development will also include retail and hospitality spaces to enhance the visitor experience.

New Haven Elementary School Breaks Ground in Ontario Ranch
Brookfield Residential has broken ground on New Haven Elementary School, Mountain View School District's newest campus. Scheduled to open in August 2026, this transitional kindergarten through sixth-grade school will serve families in New Haven and the surrounding areas.
Located on 10.4 acres near La Avenida Dr. and Turner Ave., the school is designed to support the area’s growing population. Its convenient location will allow many students to walk to school, offering accessible, high-quality education while enhancing local infrastructure.
