Ontario International Airport Awarded $4 Million from FAA for Improvements
Last month, 643,472 travelers chose Ontario International Airport (ONT) in the Inland Empire, including 608,360 domestic and 35,112 international passengers. ONT will receive $4,090,060 from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for runway and taxiway upgrades, reinforcing its strong performance in Southern California’s economic landscape.
This year, the airport is projected to exceed 7 million passengers, marking a 75% increase since local control was restored in 2016. The Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA) manages the airport, committed to supporting the Southern California economy.

New Housing Communities as Ontario Ranch in Top 50 Master-Planned Communities Mid-2024 Sales

This month, the City of Ontario continued to build momentum with new housing communities, further solidifying its status as a desirable destination for homebuyers.
Landsea Homes recently celebrated opening two new developments in Ontario Ranch: Peri, consisting of 95 single-family detached homes, and Rubi, offering 96 attached townhomes. This launch comes as Ontario Ranch ranks as #14 nationwide in RCLCO's Mid-2024 Sales Top 50 Master-Planned Communities, with over 400 homes sold in Q2 2024.
Additionally, Shea Homes marked the grand opening of their latest Ontario community, Metro at Piemonte. Located along Concours Street next to the Toyota Arena, this development comprises 84 modern townhomes.

Greater Ontario's Economy Thrives with $110 Million Boost from Hospitality
 Greater Ontario's economic impact from hospitality and tourism reached a record $110 million last year, reinforcing its status as Southern California’s fastest-growing destination, according to a recent report from Greater Ontario California (GOCAL).
The report emphasizes the hospitality industry's crucial role in the Inland Empire's development as a vibrant economic hub, with 68 hotels and 6,749 rooms in the region. This sector employs 186,000 workers in the Inland Empire. "We are the new center of Southern California, attracting residents, workers, and visitors from around the world," said Michael Krouse, GOCAL’s CEO.

Domino's Expansion of its Busiest Production & Distribution Center
 Domino’s has commenced an expansion project in Ontario that will more than double the size of its busiest production and distribution center in the nation, enhancing service to thousands of stores across the West.
The 64,320-square-foot expansion, celebrated with a demolition day event, will feature over 31,000 square feet of dry warehouse space, 11,000 square feet for freezer storage, 8,000 square feet for a cold dock, and a 7,800-square-foot cooler.

 The City of Ontario welcomes Circet USA to its local business community. Located at 2060 Archibald Avenue, Circet USA is a network services provider specializing in design, engineering, construction, and maintenance for wireline and wireless networks.
This facility will serve as a training center for individuals aged 18 to 60, focusing on distributed antenna systems, towers, civil work, cell sites, data centers, cloud networks, power, and wireless technologies. Circet collaborates with leading telecommunications companies like AT&T, Verizon, and Telecom to offer students hands-on training, preparing them for careers in network systems.
