September is National Preparedness Month, an annual campaign to remind us that preparing for emergencies and disasters can keep us, our families, and communities safe. With recent Southern California tremors and wildfire season upon us, it is always a good idea to stay prepared. Preparedness starts with conversations in your household. Discussing potential emergencies, whether they affect just your family or the entire region, can be challenging. However, avoiding these conversations doesn't protect your loved ones; taking proactive steps to get ready and stay safe does. Starting a conversation today can help you and your family take positive actions to prepare. The City of Ontario has created a Disaster Guide to help guide you and your family through your preparedness journey!

The Art of Healing
 The Art of Healing
The Ontario Museum of History & Art (OMHA) and Chaffey Community Museum of Art (CCMA) are pleased to present The Art of Healing, the fourth collaboration between the two museums. All four exhibits have been organized in the same way: presenting a single theme, interpreted in two distinct ways.
The Art of Healing explores how art can promote healing for patients, their families, and the artists themselves. This concept was locally exemplified in the mid-1950s when San Antonio Community Hospital assembled an art collection for display on hospital walls and in patient rooms. CCMA’s exhibit, Highlights from the San Antonio Hospital Collection, presents selected works from this collection. OMHA’s exhibition, Holistic Expressions, showcases the transformative power of art in the healing process through the work of five Southern California artists.
