VF Outdoors Opens the Doors to its Newest Distribution Center
VF Outdoor Corporation (VFC), a purpose-led corporation, was founded 134 years ago. It stands as one of the world's largest apparel, footwear, and accessories companies, connecting individuals to the lifestyles, activities, and experiences they cherish most. The company offers a diverse range of iconic outdoor, active, and workwear brands, including Vans, North Face, Supreme, Dickies, JanSport, and more.
Last week, VFC hosted a ribbon cutting at its new 1.2 million square foot facility, the largest and most advanced distribution center in its global network. This highly automated distribution center offers industry leading technology. VFC's intentional design choices for this building resulted in estimated annual energy cost savings of 56%. In addition, 48% of the building materials used were post-consumer and 98% of construction waste was diverted from landfills.
This state-of-the-art facility revolutionizes distribution services and boasts around 550 people during peak periods. Adorned with art displays on its walls and equipped with EV chargers, lactation rooms, and a fitness center, the center ensures a great workplace environment for its employees.

COVID-19 Paid Sick Leave Relief Grant
Eligible California small businesses may now apply for relief funds for costs incurred from the COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave.
Under the California Small Business and Nonprofit COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave Relief Grant Program, eligible businesses may be awarded between $5,000–$50,000.
Funds are limited and will be awarded based on eligibility and availability.
The California Foodservice Instant Rebates Program, provides California Investor Owned Utility (IOU)* customers upto $3,000 in instant rebates on qualifying energy-efficient equipment for their businesses.
*All SoCalGas, PG&E, SCE, and SDG&E non-residential customers are eligible to receive Instant Rebates. Equipment must be installed in a non-residential site that receives natural gas and/or electricity service from one of the California IOUs.
