Ontario International named the fastest-growing airport in the U.S. for the fifth year straight
For the fifth year in a row, Global Traveler has named Ontario International Airport (ONT) the fastest-growing airport in the United States based on feedback from frequent fliers. Pre-pandemic passenger numbers have been surpassed and ONT is on track to achieving its highest annual passenger rate since 2008.

C-Block Parking Structure receives 2022 APWA Best Project of the Year Award
Last week, the City of Ontario's C-Block Parking Structure received a 2022 American Public Works Association's (APWA) Best Project of the Year Award.
The C-Block Parking Structure is a four-level structure (plus roof parking) located on the northwest corner of C Street and Lemon Avenue. It has over 400 parking spaces, including eight Tesla Motors Superchargers.
The structure is part of the continuing redevelopment in Downtown Ontario.

2023 State of the City
Mark your calendars for State of the City 2023!

The 2023 State of the City Business Address will take place at the Ontario Convention Center on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 5:00 PM. It will be followed by a community event at Ontario Town Square on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 1:00 PM. This event is the perfect opportunity for businesses and stakeholders to learn why Ontario is the ideal place to thrive, underlining it as the Premier Community of the Inland Empire.

Ontario Commercial Sign Abatement Program
Beginning January 1, 2023, Ontario's Community Improvement Department will address unpermitted and prohibited signage throughout the City. All business owners and landowners are responsible for ensuring that all signs meet the requirements of Chapter 8 of the Ontario Development Code.
Examples of these types of signs include, but are not limited to:
- Unpermitted stationary or mobile billboards
- Rotating, revolving or moving signs
- Floating or inflated signs
- Banner signs
- Windows with neon or LED borders
- “Swooper”/ flag signs
- Signs in the public right-or-way
- Rooftop signs

- Signs obstructing traffic
- Vehicles used as signs
- Excessive window signs
- “A” Frame signs
- Human signs
- Signs obstructing sight lines at intersections
- Unmaintained permanent signs
- Abandoned signs

Part of the Demand Side Employment Initiative (DSEI) from the California Department of Rehabilitation, the EmployABILITY Business Grant offers small- and medium-sized businesses in California the opportunity to grow their businesses, upgrade their hiring and create job opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The grants range from $20,000 - $200,000.

The California Dream Fund is a one-time $35 million grant program to seed entrepreneurship and small business creation in California. New entrepreneurs and small business owners will complete a training program through select participating centers of the Technical Assistance Expansion Program (TAEP). After completing the training and consulting program, new businesses will be eligible to apply for a micro-grant of up to $10,000.

- Learn how to register for CAFS to find out when your loan is due, how much your payment is, track your loan balance, and get other important information you need to manage your loan.
- Find out how to make your payments online via pay.gov, and learn what to do if you don't know your loan number, or need assistance with issues regarding your COVID EIDL. This event includes a Question & Answer session with Small Business Administration (SBA) experts.
