City Council Meetings
Regularly scheduled City Council meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the first and third Tuesdays of the month.
Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 303 E. B Street. Meetings are broadcasted LIVE on OntarioTV and our local cable Channel 3.

Yard Sale Weekend – May 6, 7 and 8
 The next citywide yard sale weekend is May 6, 7 and 8. Yard sales will only be permitted one-weekend of each quarter during the year. Yard sales are not allowed at any other time of the year. Yard sale permits are not required.

If rainy weather conditions exist on either Friday or Saturday of the designated weekend, garage or yard sales may be conducted on the following consecutive Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Districting Mapping Workshops
 Local governments use data from the Census to draw district lines to reflect the changing local population demographics.
The City of Ontario is starting the process of moving to a district election format – and the City is asking for your help! We want your input in planning, drawing, and dividing our new City Council districts.
After the Tuesday, May 10 Special City Council Meeting on Districting, the Community Mapping Tool will be released on Wednesday, May 11. This Mapping Tool will allow all community members to draw and submit their desired City Council districts for future consideration.
In an effort to get the community's full input on this process, the City will be hosting four Districting Mapping Workshops:

Los Angeles Rams Trophy Tour – May 15
 The Los Angeles Rams are taking the Vince Lombardi Trophy on Tour – and it will be coming to the City of Ontario on Sunday, May 15. The event will take place at Ontario Town Square (located at 224 N. Euclid Avenue) from 11 AM – 3 PM.
Come check out the trophy and take photos with football's most coveted prize up close!
This is a free event and open to the public. and will feature appearances from the Los Angeles Rams Cheerleaders, mascot Rampage, a merchandise trailer and more.
Ontario Culture Fest – May 21
The Ontario Culture Fest aims to honor, celebrate and promote the rich culture within our community and neighboring communities. This event is scheduled to take place Saturday, May 21 between 3 PM – 7 PM and will feature performances, craft vendors, small businesses, music and food.

 The City of Ontario Office of Emergency Management in partnership with the Ontario Economic Development Department is launching a new preparedness program for businesses and community organizations in the Ontario area. The CORE (Continuity & Organizational Resilience in Emergencies) Academy prepares businesses, nonprofits, or faith-based organizations through a structured series of training sessions. This new training is designed to teach fundamental skills and provide tools to ensure your organization can build disaster resiliency. Your participation will have a greater impact in building community preparedness and resiliency because businesses can help businesses in a time of disaster.

City Facilities Closed – May 30
 City Facilities will be closed on Monday, May 30 in observance of Memorial Day.
City Facilities that will be closed include: City Hall, City Hall Annex, Main and Branch Libraries, Recreation & Community Services building facilities, Utility & Customer Service Center, Municipal Utilities Company, Housing, Community Improvement, Museum of History & Art, and the lobby entrances for Police and Fire.
Police and Fire services will remain available 24/7.
Holiday Refuse and Recycling Collection Information

If you need to request a bin replacement, missed trash pick up, bulky item pick up, or empty roll off request -- you do not need to call our Utilities Customer Service Department. Simply fill out one of the online forms and we will assist you!

Independence Day Parade Applications
 The City of Ontario Independence Day Parade returns on Monday, July 4! This annual tradition will be held along historic Euclid Avenue.
Parade Applications are Open! This year's theme is "Bold Stripes, Bright Stars and Brave Hearts". Register your Parade entry today!
Applications will be accepted for floats, marching bands, individual vehicles, vehicle groups, walking groups and equestrian units through May 27. Ready to submit your application now? Early bird registration ends on May 6.

 The City of Ontario recognizes the men and women actively serving and those that have served in the U.S. Armed Forces - and their families for their sacrifices they have made.
Ontario Military Banner Program
The Ontario Military Banner Program was first launched and maintained by the Ontario Business Council. It was established to honor and recognize active duty military personnel that reside in, or have immediate family living in the City of Ontario. The City is proud to carry on the program and honor those who are serving in our military.
The City of Ontario is currently seeking the names of military personnel who are currently serving on active duty in the United States Armed Forces. Names that are submitted to the City of Ontario will be considered for placement on street banners displayed throughout the City.
