Districting Community Workshops
Local governments use data from the Census to draw district lines to reflect the changing local population demographics.
The City of Ontario is starting the process of moving to a district election format – and the City is asking for your help! We want your input in planning, drawing, and dividing our new City Council districts.
Share your specific thoughts, draw a map, attend an upcoming public hearing or workshop to get involved! We want to hear your stories - tell us what your communities of interest are and give your opinions on draft maps.
Please join us at one (or all) of the five upcoming Community Workshops.
All workshops will begin at 6 PM.
- Monday, April 4 – Anthony Muñoz Community Center (1240 W. Fourth Street)
- Wednesday, April 6 – Ontario Convention Center (2000 E. Convention Center Way)

Prepare yourself and your family by building an emergency kit, making an emergency plan, and being informed before, during, and after the earthquake. It’s also important to take measures NOW to Prepare Financially, which includes making sure you have adequate homeowners or renter’s insurance.
