City Council Meetings
Regularly scheduled City Council meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the first and third Tuesdays of the month.
Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 303 E. B Street. Meetings are broadcasted LIVE on OntarioTV and our local cable Channel 3.

2022 State of the City
 On Wednesday, March 16, the City will host its 2022 State of the City Business Address event – one of the region’s most anticipated annual gatherings of business leaders and stakeholders from across the IE and Southern California. This year’s event, at the Ontario Convention Center, will highlight current and future business investments and economic development projects, and the critical role they play in supporting a high-quality of life and the delivery of essential City services.
On Saturday, March 19, the City will host its inaugural Community Open House & Taste of Ontario, from 1 PM - 5 PM at Ontario Town Square. This event will feature City Departments and Agencies displaying the services and programs that we as staff provide to our community. Discover what the City of Ontario has to offer its residents with demonstrations from the Ontario Police Department, Recreation & Community Services Department, Ontario Fire Department, Integrated Waste, Public Works and many more! And don't miss the Taste of Ontario! Enjoy tasty samples from some of your favorite Ontario restaurants, bakeries, caterers and coffee houses.

Free Mulch Giveaway – March 18 & 19
The next FREE Mulch Giveaway is March 18 and 19. This event is for Ontario residents only. We encourage you to arrive early for this event, as the mulch is first come first serve. Don't Forget to Spring Forward!

Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at 2:00 AM. On Saturday evening (March 12), our clocks need to “spring forward” one hour.

Honoring Ontario Residents Actively Serving in the United States Armed Forces
 The Ontario Military Banner Program was first launched and maintained by the Ontario Business Council. It was established to honor and recognize active duty military personnel that reside in, or have immediate family living in the City of Ontario. The City is proud to carry on the program and honor those who are serving in our military.
The City of Ontario is currently seeking the names of military personnel who are currently serving on active duty in the United States Armed Forces. Names that are submitted to the City of Ontario will be considered for placement on street banners displayed throughout the City.
