Nativity Scenes – Thanksgiving through New Year's Day
The twelve iconic Historic Nativity Scenes will be on display from Thanksgiving thru New Year's Day (2022), from C Street to F Street. Download and print a self-guided tour script and enjoy a stroll along the beautiful tree-lined Euclid Avenue to view the life-size scenes!

Menorah Procession – Wednesday, December 1
This year’s holiday festivities will kick-off on Wednesday, December 1 with the annual Menorah Procession, starting at Ontario Town Square at 6:30 PM.
There will be no road closures for this event.

Holiday Light Parade – Friday, December 3
Join us on Euclid Avenue for an amazing Holiday Parade full of lights! It will start at I Street heading south on Euclid Avenue, turning at B Street to arrive at Ontario Town Square. FREE for all ages! It will be the first time the City of Ontario is holding this event, we hope to see you there! All spectators will be allowed to setup on Euclid Avenue beginning at 3 PM. Parking is available on public parking lots.
Parade Start: 6:30 PM Parade will finish at approximately 8 PM
Holiday Light Parade Street Closures Beginning at 12 PM Euclid Avenue will be closed from Holt Boulevard to G Street. Euclid Avenue from G Street to Fourth Street will begin to close at approximately 3 PM.
Street Closures West of Euclid Avenue • I Street to Laurel Avenue • J Street to Vine Avenue • Laurel Avenue between J & I Street • Palm Avenue between J & I Street
Street Closures East of Euclid Avenue • D Street will be closed from Sultana Avenue to Euclid Avenue. No Entry at Lemon Avenue, Plum Avenue, and Cherry Avenue.
The above street closures will reopen at approximately 10 PM. There will be no access to Euclid Avenue between Fourth Street and Holt Boulevard during this time. Please use Fourth Street, Holt Boulevard, Vine Avenue, and Sultana Avenue as open streets.

Tree Lighting Ceremony – Friday, December 3
Join us at Ontario Town Square at 6 PM for entertainment, food and family fun while we anticipate the arrival of the Holiday Light Parade. As Santa arrives in the Holiday Light Parade, everyone is welcome to gather at Ontario Town Square for the official Tree Lighting ceremony!
Tree Lighting Start at approximately 8 PM: Tree lighting will begin immediately following the conclusion of the Holiday Light Parade.
Tree Lighting Street Closures • Lemon Avenue from Holt Boulevard to D Street – 4 AM to 9 PM • B Street, C Street, D Street from Lemon Avenue to Euclid Avenue – 4 AM to 9 PM

5K Reindeer Run & Rudolph’s Dash – Saturday, December 11
The annual Ontario 5K Reindeer Run will begin and end on Euclid Avenue and C Street. Ontario’s historic properties and neighborhoods are a tangible symbol of our past. Runners will experience historic Euclid Avenue landmarks and pass through neighborhoods that showcase the many architectural styles of homes and businesses each representing the City’s unique history.
Race proceeds benefit the Ontario-Montclair Promise Scholars Program, an award winning program designed to assist Ontario Montclair youth by helping to prepare them in their journey towards a college education and the Empowerment Scholarship which gives Ontario residents the opportunity to participate in Recreation & Community Services programs and classes.
