City of Ontario - April Community Newsletter
City of Ontario, California sent this bulletin at 04/06/2021 05:10 PM PDT
The Ontario Police Department’s Creative Media Team recently released a video displaying a message to the community in various languages. The idea behind the video was presented during a meeting and Officer Sam Avalos made it come to life. The Ontario Police Department prides themselves with officers who come from different backgrounds, so they wanted to highlight the sincerity and diversity of their employees. This displays the humanity behind each badge, as each individual displays their unique characteristics. Although they perform the same job, no two humans behind the badge are the same. The team titled the video “Ontario, Our Home” to seal a message of unity. Be sure to follow the Ontario Police Department on Twitter (@OntarioPD) and Instagram (@ontario_pd)!
Be Prepared. Be A Life Saver.
The Ontario Fire Department launched the PulsePoint Respond mobile app to help improve sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) survival rates in the City of Ontario. PulsePoint Respond app notifies CPR-trained citizens that an individual in a public area is experiencing sudden cardiac arrest and that they may be in a position to perform CPR until the arrival of emergency crews. Learn more at OntarioCA.gov/PulsePoint.
