Schools, Day Camps, Bars, Gyms & More Reopening
On Friday, June 12, California will allow schools, day camps, bars, gyms and other sectors in San Bernardino County to begin reopening. The following are the guidance for sectors that will be allowed to reopen this Friday:

City Buildings Open By Appointment Only
As we begin to re-open to the public, appointments are still required for our City Buildings. Each location has a separate online booking form.
City Hall: book your appointment. Appointments available for building permits, Business License application, City Clerk / Records Management, Engineering encroachment permits & plan check submittal/pick-up, Fire plan check submittal/pick-up, and Planning plan check submittal/pick-up.
Utilities Customer Services Center: book your appointment. Appointments available for commercial & residential utilities set up and construction hydrant meter setup.
Community Improvement: book your appointment. Appointments available for dropping off/picking up documents, payments, and Officer appointments.
June 16th Council Meeting Returning to City Hall
As we begin to re-open City Hall, in-person Council Meetings will have limited seating in order to practice social distancing. The meetings will resume at the City Hall Council Chambers. Community Rooms 1 & 2 next to the lobby, will be available for overflow seating. Face coverings and social distancing are required to attend in person. The next City Council Meeting will be Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 6:30 PM.
You may also participate at home by streaming the meeting live on The City of Ontario's YouTube Channel.
 City of Ontario Model Colony Awards
Please join the Ontario City Council in recognizing achievements in local historic preservation efforts at the 20TH ANNUAL MODEL COLONY AWARDS. The Model Colony Awards will be presented during a special ceremony at the City Council Meeting on TUESDAY, JUNE 16 AT 6:30 PM.

New Hours for Check Out, Ontario!
 On Monday, June 1, 2020 the Ontario City Library extended the hours of operation for Check Out, Ontario, the library’s holds pickup service.
Pick up is now available Monday through Friday, from 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Ovitt Family Community Library.
Customers can place up to ten holds through the library’s online catalog or by calling the library directly. Customers picking up material are asked to bring their library card, wear a face covering, and practice physical distancing (six feet or two arms length) from others visiting the library.
Check Out, Ontario! is currently available only at the Ovitt Family Community Library located at 215 East C St. This service is free for all ages. If you need help with looking up account information, creating a new account or placing a hold on library materials please call (909) 395-2004 or visit OntarioCA.gov/Library.
