MTC   Regional Measure 3 Final Election Results
Final June election results were released in July, confirming that 55 percent of Bay Area voters supported Regional Measure 3, a comprehensive suite of highway and transit improvements financed through increased bridge tolls. MTC   MTC-ABAG Executive Director Steve Heminger Announces Retirement
Steve Heminger, executive director of MTC since 2001 and ABAG since July 2017, notified the Commission's Executive Committee that he will retire from both positions on February 28, 2019. MTC Chair Jake Mackenzie and six other Commission members have formed a committee that will guide the selection of Heminger's successor. MORE
