Parking: Parking at the Senior Center will be limited during this period. Please consider carpooling, allowing extra time or using alternate transportation options.
Senior Nutrition Program: The program will temporarily relocate to the Mountain View Community Center at 201 S. Rengstorff Ave. Parking is limited, so please consider carpooling, allowing extra time or using alternate transportation. Overflow parking is available at the Rengstorff Park Aquatics Center and the Rengstorff Park BBQ lot, both on Crisanto Ave.
Classes and Clubs: All classes and clubs will be temporarily relocated to the Mountain View Community Center and Rengstorff Park Aquatics Center, with only a limited number of classes, including MVLA ESL classes, remaining at the Senior Center. Temporary locations for all classes will be listed in the Winter Class Guide, available online.
Drop-In Rooms: The Technology Room, Game Room and Exercise Room will remain open for drop-in use from 10 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 4:45 p.m. on Fridays.

Indoor Dining
The Community Services Agency’s Senior Nutrition Program offers dine-in meals at the Mountain View Community Center at 201 S. Rengstorff Ave. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., sign-in starts at 11 a.m., and lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Redwood Hall closes at 1 p.m. A $5 donation is suggested for permanent residents 60+ of Santa Clara County.
Lunch service is first come, first served and availability is not guaranteed.

Seniors celebrated the holiday season at the December Holiday Gala Dance with their favorite DJ. The year concluded with a Vinyasa Flow Yoga workshop, introducing new patrons to the weekly Wednesday class.

AARP TAX-AIDE APPOINTMENTS |

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers will provide free tax preparation and e-filing for low-to moderate-income taxpayers from Feb. 5 - April 9. Due to the Solar Array and Electrification Projects, February appointments are available on Thursdays at the Mountain View Library (585 Franklin Street) from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Beginning in March, Wednesday and Thursday appointments will be held at The View Teen Center (263 Escuela Ave.) from 9 - 11 a.m.
Pre-registration is required and can be booked starting Monday, Jan. 12 by visiting or calling the Senior Center Front Desk at 650-903-6330.

 Free blood pressure screenings will return on Friday, Feb. 27 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Multipurpose Room A. No registration required.

 Having trouble with your iPad or iPhone? Schedule a 30 minute appointment with a volunteer, available starting Thursdays in March 2026 from 1 - 3 p.m. in the Counseling Room, to get your questions answered. Pre-registration is required.

 Senior Adult Legal Assistance (SALA) offers free legal services at the Senior Center on the first Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. for Santa Clara County residents aged 60 or older. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited.

 Free Grocery pick-up will be temporarily held at the Rengstorff BBQ area during scheduled construction from Jan. 5 - Feb. 20, 2026. The first through fourth Tuesday of each month, 8:30 - 10 a.m. Pre-registration is required. For more information, visit the Front Desk or stop by during program hours. Operated by the Second Harvest Food Bank.

 A welcome tour of the Senior Center is held on the third Tuesday of each month at 2 p.m. in the Lobby. During the tour, Staff will provide an overview of classes, upcoming events, social services, and more.

 The Senior Advisory Committee (SAC) meets on the third Wednesday of the month in March, June, Sept., and Dec. at 4:15 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the Mountain View Senior Center.
