The winter season is almost here, and we’re excited to welcome you to the Community Tree Lighting Celebration on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Civic Center Plaza (500 Castro St.) from 5:30–8:00 p.m.

Here’s what’s in store:

🎅 A special visit from Santa, plus the much-anticipated lighting of the community tree to bring in the winter magic
This is a free, family-friendly event open to the entire community.
Parking downtown can fill quickly, so walking, biking, or using nearby transit is encouraged.
We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our event sponsors, Kemper Sports and Kaiser Permanente, for their generous support in bringing this annual community tradition to life for the Mountain View community.
