2026 Minimum Wage Update
Beginning January 1, 2026, the Mountain View minimum wage will increase to $19.70 per hour, a 2.6% adjustment based on the regional Consumer Price Index.
This rate applies to all employers subject to the Mountain View Business License Tax or who maintain a facility in the city, and covers employees (including minors) who perform at least two hours of work per week within Mountain View.
Employers are required to post the official 2026 Minimum Wage Notice in the workplace and maintain payroll records for four years.
Updated notices and informational flyers are available in English, Spanish, and Chinese on the City’s website.
