CalSavers Retirement Savings Program
New Deadline for Small Employers
 ⚠️ New Deadline for Small Employers: CalSavers Retirement Savings Program
California law requires all employers to either offer a qualified retirement plan (such as a 401(k)), or register for CalSavers, the state’s retirement savings program.
By December 31, 2025, employers with 1–4 employees must register for CalSavers (if they don’t already offer a retirement plan).

Navigating Immigration Law & Enforcement
 Restaurant owners and managers are invited to a no-cost informational forum hosted by the California Restaurant Association Legal Center in partnership with Berliner Cohn. 📅 Wednesday, October 15, 1:30–4:00 p.m. 📍 SYSCO Fremont, 5900 Stewart Avenue, Fremont
With recent changes and increased enforcement around immigration laws, this session will provide practical guidance on compliance. Attendees will also receive preparation checklists and have the chance to network with fellow restaurateurs and representatives from the California Restaurant Association and Foundation.
