Save the date - Summer hours (1-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday) begin Thursday, June 5.
- Use your hard-earned ViewBucks to shop at the ViewBucks Store, where you'll find a variety of items, including candy, school supplies, and prizes valued between 2-10 Viewbucks each. The store will be open on the first Friday of each month during drop-in hours. Check it out Friday, May 2! We're adding new items this month!

AfterHours: Moonlight Masquerade
Friday, Apr. 25 7-9 p.m. The View Teen Center
Join us for music, fun games, awesome raffles, a candy buffet, and a photo booth perfect for your masked selfie! 📸 Indulge in delicious appetizers and desserts while you dance and connect with friends. Brought to you by your amazing Teen Ambassadors! Don't forget your mask! (We'll have some at the door, too!) 🥸
Shoreline Cleanup & Discovery
Saturday, Apr. 26 9:30-11:30 a.m. Shoreline - Sailing Lake Parking Lot
Connect with your community and nature! 🌱🌿🍃 Spend a morning at Shoreline Lake with the Youth Advisory Committee! We'll start at the Sailing Lake parking lot, removing invasive weeds for habitat restoration. Afterward, a Park Ranger will guide a Bay Trail walk, highlighting Shoreline's history, marsh ecology, and birdlife. Enjoy bagels, smoothies, and giveaways on the grass to finish.
Kitbash Crash Course
Saturday, Apr. 26 2-4 p.m. The View Teen Center
Transform ordinary toys and found objects into unique works of art. 🤖🖌️🔧 Learn techniques for combining, modifying, and painting to create custom figures, vehicles, or anything your imagination dreams up. All materials provided. Join us for a fun and hands-on experience!
Spring Volunteer Fair
Saturday, Apr. 26 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Mountain View Community Center
Teens interested in volunteering will have the opportunity to meet with local organizations to learn about volunteer opportunities and their services. Stop by, get involved, and make a difference! 🙌😊🤝

Discover downtown Mountain View's best boba spots by bike! Join our monthly staff-led rides to explore a new boba spot each time. Our city's transportation experts will also share valuable bike safety tips along the way. Just meet at The View Teen Center at the scheduled start time with your bike and helmet. Bonus: Your favorite boba drink is on us!

Join us for a night filled with wonder, creativity, and Japanese culture. We'll be screening 2 classic Ghibli films (in English with subtitles), learning the art of sushi making, and exploring the intricate world of origami.  Makerspace Workshop: Bean Art Animal Mosaics

Get crafty and create adorable animal mosaics using colorful beans! In this fun and hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to design and assemble your own unique bean art masterpiece. We'll provide all the materials, so just bring your creativity and imagination.

 Books, Buttons, and Bites
Wednesday, May 28 5-6 p.m. The View Teen Center
Book: Strange Bedfellows by Ariel Slamet Ries
This book club combines the joy of reading with creative expression and culinary fun. Each month, members read a selected book, design and create buttons inspired by the story, and then concoct snacks that reflect the book's themes or setting.

College Tour: Foothill College
Saturday, May 3 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
College Tours are offered during the school year and are open to Mountain View and Los Altos 11th and 12th grade students. These trips give teens the opportunity to visit college campuses, speak with current faculty and/or students, and dine on site.

Tuesday, May 6 5-6 p.m. The View Teen Center
This workshop, led by students from Khan Lab School, focuses on building distress tolerance and coping skills to help you navigate overwhelming emotions and make thoughtful decisions under pressure. You'll learn practical strategies to stay grounded and resilient during challenging times through interactive activities and guided discussions.
Open to all teens looking to build resilience and improve their mental well-being. DONUTS INCLUDED!!

The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is a dynamic group of 25 teens working alongside city officials and staff to bring youth perspectives to the forefront of decision-making. From organizing events to addressing community needs, YAC members play a crucial role in making Mountain View an even better place for teens. |

Dodge, duck, dip, dive... and devour! Join the Youth Advisory Committee for an epic night of dodgeball and delicious donuts. This event, presented by the Health and Wellness Subcommittee, promotes active lifestyles and social interaction. Enjoy fast-paced games and friendly competition.

Saturdays and Sundays 1-2 p.m. Rengstorff Park Aquatics Center Ages 13-17
A great way for teens to enjoy dedicated exercise time or for teens and families (guardians are welcome to join their teen) to stay active together. Drop-in only, standard lap swim fees apply per person.

Mountain View Public Library
Amplify is a program for teens who want to share their interests and passions with an audience. If you have a skill you’d like to teach or a topic you know a lot about, we will work with you to create a library program open to the public. Participants will not only get the opportunity to literally use your voice, but you will also gain real world experience working with the full support of librarians to bring your program to life.

Mountain View–Los Altos High School Speech and Debate Summer Camp
June 23-27 & June 30 - July 3 Los Altos High School
Camps will be in person at Los Altos High School where students will become stronger critical thinkers, more confident speakers, and make lots of new friends. Three different courses at varying skill levels are offered. All courses can be completely free for families with need, including free meals and extended aftercare.

Together in Pride
Saturday, June 7 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Civic Center Plaza
Together in Pride is Mountain View's first citywide Pride Celebration! Celebrate diversity, inclusion, and community with a day full of exciting activities, including:
- Live performances by DJ China G, CHEER SF, Anaís Azul, El Camino Reelers, Maggie Gently, Queer Taiko, and more!
- Roaming entertainment and interactive experiences
- A family fun zone with activities for all ages
- Community art project
- Community organizations sharing resources and support
This free event is open to everyone. Join us as we come together to celebrate and uplift Mountain View’s LGBTQIA2S+ community!
