ExpressPermitsMV Now Available for Small Businesses
The City of Mountain View has launched ExpressPermitsMV — a new program designed to save qualifying small businesses, as well as single family residences, time and money when making improvements to their spaces.
ExpressPermitsMV offers a faster, more streamlined permitting process for commercial tenant improvements of 5,000 square feet or less for retail, office, personal service and medical businesses.
The program includes a scheduled meeting with City staff to answer questions and resolve issues in real-time, helping business owners get their permits faster. This upgrade to the City's permitting process responds directly to feedback from small businesses asking for faster service for less complex projects.
