Mountain View, CA - Mountain View Police Department detectives serve a search warrant that leads to the arrest of a burglary suspect.
At around 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 16, Mountain View Police detectives executed a search warrant in the 2000 block of Elliot Street in Santa Clara, California.
Over the past few months, several burglaries were reported at an apartment complex in the 100 block of Lena Way in Mountain View. In November 2024, the MVPD Crime Suppression Unit (CSU) launched an investigation into these burglaries. The investigation identified Jessica Castro as a suspect in two of the burglaries.
Following the investigation, CSU Detectives arrested Jessica Castro after serving her with a search warrant at her residence. She was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on two counts of California Penal Code 459 (Burglary) and for a probation violation.
Castro is a 34-year-old Caucasian female residing in Santa Clara.
