Engage in Biodiversity & Urban Forest Plan |
|
Community engagement for the Biodiversity and Urban Forest Plan is in full swing! Your participation is vital to ensuring that the needs and values of all community members are reflected in the Plan. The Plan will be the first of its kind in the Bay Area to provide a clear set of priorities for increasing and supporting urban biodiversity (the variety of animals, plants, trees) for long-term community resilience.
Help shape the future by attending two upcoming meetings, and visit BiodiversityMV.com to share your thoughts, ideas and pictures, and to take a survey (launching soon).
Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting Wednesday, Sept. 11, 7 p.m. Mountain View City Hall, 500 Castro St.
We are also hosting a special session at the Teen Center where young voices will engage in discussions about biodiversity, trees and long-term resiliency.
Youth Advisory Committee Meeting Monday, Sept. 16, 4:30 p.m. The View Teen Center, 263 Escuela Ave.
This is a great opportunity for teens to get involved and make a difference in their community!
