Arte, Revolution, and Cultura Tuesdays, Sept. 17 - Oct. 8 4-6 p.m.
This teen class dives into Latin American culture through art, exploring how artists use it for social justice and beauty in the face of adversity.
Muertitos and Groundbreaking Artists Tuesdays, Oct. 29 - Nov. 19 4-6 p.m.
This class explores world-changing artists & recreates art in their styles. Think Dia de Los Muertos art inspired by Posada or Pop Art like Warhol!

 Bike To Boba

Bike To Boba is a seasonal monthly program and the coolest way for teens to learn bike safety while discovering awesome local boba spots! It's the perfect mix of learning, exploring, and supporting our community, one bike ride at a time. Join us on a staff-led bike ride to visit Mr. Sun. Simply gather at The View Teen Center at the designated start time with your bike and helmet. Best of all, your preferred Boba drink is on us!

 AfterHours: Y2K
Friday, Sept. 20 7-9 p.m. The View Teen Center
Experience the Y2K vibe with bracelet making, CD painting, karaoke, and a variety of video games. Dive into the world of Perler beads and stickers, and catch glimpses of old Disney Channel shows playing in the background. Enjoy 2000's themed snacks including a candy bar, pizza, and rock candy sodas. It's a night of retro fun you won't want to miss! Dressing up in theme is encouraged for added fun!

The View Teen Center partners with EduEquity, a volunteer-led non-profit organization that provides FREE tutoring opportunities for middle school students.

Financial Literacy and Empowerment
Saturdays, Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The View Teen Center
This four-week teen-led program walks through the basics of saving, budgeting, investing, credit, and the basics of financial knowledge. Workshops will be led by She Profits whose mission is to empower teens by promoting financial literacy and helping teens to feel more confident about themselves and their worth.

YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE
 The YAC is a dynamic group of 25 teens working alongside city officials and staff to bring youth perspectives to the forefront of decision-making. From organizing events to addressing community needs, YAC members play a crucial role in making Mountain View an even better place for teens.
Members are currently supporting staff in the planning of the 4th annual Teen Wellness Retreat event and brainstorming their workplan for the upcoming year.

The City of Mountain View's FREE Teen Open Gym is THE place to be on Saturday nights! Open from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Whisman Sports Center to all Mountain View and Los Altos middle and high school students! Just bring your student I.D.

The Teen Zone at the Mountain View Public Library is an area in the Library dedicated to teens. Seating in the Octagon area of the Teen Zone is reserved during all open Library hours for teens and those accompanying them.

Robot Challenge
Monday, Sept. 9 & 16 6-8 p.m. 1st Floor Program Room
Alongside the award winning Paly Robotics team, participate in a hands-on, robot building experience. The program will guide participants through a chassis build and introduce basic electronics, terminology, and technical problem solving skills culminating in a collaboratively built working prototype.
Author Talk with Sara Wolf
Thursday, Sept. 12 6:30-7:30 p.m. Online
Enjoy a virtual conversation with popular novelist Sara Wolf. She will discuss her instant New York Times Bestseller, Heavenbreaker, how she transitioned from writing fanfiction on forums to releasing bestselling novels, and much more! Attendees can also submit questions to the author during the livestreamed event.
