Fourth of July Spectacular |

The City of Mountain View and Live Nation are proud to present the 2024 Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular with the San Francisco Symphony on Thursday, July 4 at Shoreline Amphitheatre.
- The free resident lawn tickets are no longer available. Mountain View residents may purchase discounted lawn and upper reserved tickets for $15 each (limit of 8 tickets per household).
- Residents must print and bring this 4th of July flyer/coupon, along with proof of residency (a driver's license AND current utility bill), to the Shoreline Box Office in order to redeem for tickets.
- On the day of the event, parking lots will open at 4 p.m. and doors will open at 5 p.m. for games and activities. An additional parking lot fee of $25 will be collected on the night of the event, in advance at the Shoreline Amphitheatre box office, or in advance online at ShorelineAmphitheatre.com.
The Shoreline Box Office is open Wednesdays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., and on event days starting at 12 p.m. You can learn more information on the Shoreline Amphitheatre webpage.

Summer Outdoor Movie Night Series |

Join us for an exciting Summer Outdoor Movie Night Series, Friday evenings July 5 through August 9! All movies begin at 8:30 p.m. or dark. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the show.
Before the movie starts, join us for a fun-filled pre-show featuring yard games and the Spin to Win wheel. Plus, new this summer, enter to win a VIP movie experience for your family, complete with comfy chairs, cozy blankets, a delicious snack pack, and refreshing drinks – all set up and waiting for you!

Dance into the summer season with Concerts on the Plaza! Join your family, friends and neighbors down at the Civic Center Plaza, located at 500 Castro St., for a variety of musical performances.
Bring a lawn chair, blanket or your dancing shoes. Food, beer, wine and other beverages will be available for purchase at the Bean Scene Cafe. Concerts take place every Friday from June through September, from 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Join us for Music on Castro! Every Wednesday from 5 - 6:45 p.m., singer/songwriters will perform live music while the community shops and dines downtown. Teen Ambassadors Program
This NEW program is designed for enthusiastic teens who want to make a positive impact on their peers and The View Teen Center, all while acquiring valuable skills, enjoyment, and service hours. Ambassadors will be the face of The View, helping to create a welcoming and exciting environment for all members.
What will Teen Ambassadors Do?
- Assist with events and programs
- Promote The View
- Offer feedback and suggestions
- Be a positive role model
Program Requirements:
- Teens in grades 6th – 12th who are regular members of The View;
- Attend monthly meetings on the 2nd Thursday of each month;
- Positive and enthusiastic; and
- Committed to fulfilling program requirements.
If you are interested in becoming an Ambassador, please complete the application.
The first round of applications are due by Friday, Aug. 9. A mandatory orientation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 15 from 5 - 6:30 p.m.

Beat the heat with a cool treat! Join us in the Senior Center Courtyard as we kick off our Ice Cream Social Series on Wednesday, July 10. This event is the perfect way to sweeten your day! This event is free and open to anyone 55+.

Adult Softball League – Spring Season Registration is Now Open
Registration for the spring season of the Adult Softball League is now open. There are four divisions available.
- CO-ED Intermediate – Monday nights
- CO-ED Recreation – Tuesday nights
- Men’s C/D – Wednesday nights
- Men’s D – Thursday nights
