The City will be hosting its annual Volunteer Fair on Saturday, April 6 at the Mountain View Community Center from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Those interested in volunteering will have the opportunity to meet with local organizations to learn about volunteer opportunities and their services. Pickleball Community Meeting |
|
 The City of Mountain View will host a community meeting on Monday, April 8 at 6:30pm at the Mountain View Community Center to discuss the Pickleball Study, Design and Construction project. Staff will present the recent pickleball survey results and provide an additional opportunity for community input on new dedicated pickleball court locations and amenities.
The feedback received from the survey and community meeting will provide staff with the information necessary to identify the number, location(s) and configurations of the pickleball courts to recommend to the Parks and Recreation Commission and City Council. Earth and Arbor Day Celebration |

 On Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Mountain View Community Center and Rengstorff Park, the City of Mountain View’s Sustainability and Resiliency Division and Community Services Department will co-host the first joint Earth and Arbor Day Celebration, a free community event that aims to promote environmental awareness and sustainability.
The theme for this event is “Rooted in Our Environment.” Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or use public transit to join the festivities, which include:
🌳 Ceremonial Tree Planting with Mayoral proclamation 🌍 Earth-Friendly Booths and Passport Prize Activity 🎶 Live Folk Music 🧗 Planet Playground with rock climbing, art activities, recycling games, a photo booth, and more 🦋 Live Animal and Bug Programs ♻️ Workshops on Induction Cooking, Composting, Upcycled Piñata Making, and more 🔋 Electric Vehicle Showcase 🌱 Tasty Plant-Based Food

Female Empowerment Workshop
Discover self-defense techniques and gain valuable knowledge about menstrual care to enhance your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
