Take this survey and show your true colors! The Magical Bridge Foundation is seeking the community’s help in choosing a color scheme for the playhouse and stage coming to Rengstorff Park.
As seen at other Magical Bridge playgrounds, the custom-built and accessible playhouse and stage is made with wood stained, non-toxic tung oil.

2024 Spring and Summer Activity Guide is Out |

The 2024 Spring/Summer Activity Guide is now available online - covering classes and camps taking place April through August, including spring break camps, summer camps, swim lessons and adult fitness classes.

Hardcopies were mailed to Mountain View residents this week. Registration begins Saturday, March 2 at 9 a.m. for Mountain View residents and Monday, March 18 at 8:30 a.m. for non-residents.
While online registration is encouraged, City staff will be available to process in-person registration on Saturday, March 2 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Mountain View Community Center, 201 S. Rengstorff Avenue.

Summer Camp Fair on Feb. 28 |

The City of Mountain View Recreation Division will be hosting its Summer Camp Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Mountain View Community Center.
Camp and aquatics staff, as well as vendors, will be on-site to answer any questions you may have as you prepare for your youth’s summer plans.

The Santa Clara County Home Composting Education Program offers free workshops in Mountain View and throughout the county. These workshops teach residents the basics of vermicomposting with worm bins, how to build compost piles, and the best ways to apply finished compost in your garden.

Registration is required. Visit Ucanr.edu/Compost or call 408-918-4640 to register and see the full list of classes available throughout the year. Mountain View residents can attend any of the Santa Clara County workshops for free.

Mini Storytimes at the Park Join us for a 15-minute storytime at a local park with the bookmobile! All storytimes will be from 10:30-10:45 a.m. The bookmobile will be available for browsing and borrowing from 10-11 a.m. as part of its regular service schedule.

Teen Drop-in Mental Health Break Unleash your creativity at our weekly Teen Drop-in Mental Health Break. Every Friday until March 29, teens are invited to relax in the Teen Zone with different crafts and activities in a space set aside just for them. The Library will provide all the materials. Please note that the Teen Zone is solely for teens and no adults or children will be permitted unless accompanied by a teen.

March 2-3 | MainStage | Lamplighters Music Theatre presents RUDDYGORE, or The Bruja’s Curse. The Murgatroyds are a Cornish family that moved to Hidalgo for the mining business in the 1800's. They had hoped to escape the infamous family curse of committing one crime a day or dying a terrible death, but they brought it with them! Combining all the familiar characters and music with folklórico dancing and Day-of-the-Dead style ghostly ancestors, Lamplighters' new production of Gilbert and Sullivan's RUDDYGORE envisioned by Davi Euresti will spook and delight old and new audiences alike! | Tickets
