The Senior Center will be closed Friday, Nov. 10 in observance of Veterans Day. The Senior Nutrition Program will serve lunch on Friday, Nov. 10. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., close at 1 p.m.

Sutter Health - Grief and the Holidays

Join us as we share holiday grief survival skills and learn much more about the stages of grief. Presented by Hospice of the Valley Bereavement Counselor, Debbie Chinchiolo, MSW, who has spent many years working in various settings including hospice, skilled nursing, and at a cancer center.

Travel Wise 101 - Introduction to Fixed-Route Public Transit
Thursday, Nov. 9 Social Hall, 1 p.m.
Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is committed to providing the senior community with services that meet their transportation needs. VTA bus and light rail service provide access to many places of interest throughout the county, including shopping centers, nutritional sites, shopping centers, places of worship, and more. VTA will provide an overview of services specific to older adults and persons with disabilities. Learn about accessibility, safety, and senior fare options, including the senior clipper card and trip planning.

Are you ready for Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)? In partnership with Mountain View Senior Center, HICAP's AEP presentation is for Santa Clara County residents that want to learn more about Medicare changes taking effect on January 1, 2024. Every year, Medicare Part D drug plans and Part C Medicare Advantage plans make changes to their coverage, costs, including the deductible, premium, and co-payments / coinsurance. It’s that time of year! The Holiday Bazaar returns to the Mountain View Senior Center on Nov. 18, 2023.
This event is a handmade craft fair showcasing over 40 vendors selling a variety of items from jewelry, knitting, ceramics, wood carvings and more. Doors open at 10 a.m. for a day full of shopping, local entertainment, kids crafts, and free raffle. All ages are welcome! Indoor Dining
Community Services Agency's Senior Nutrition Program has a full dine in meal service in the Social Hall of the Mountain View Senior Center. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Sign in will begin at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The Social Hall will close at 1 p.m.
The Annual Thanksgiving Lunch will be combined with the Holiday Lunch on Dec. 15. Registration will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. in the Social Hall.

Movies are on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1 p.m. Wednesday movies start at 5:30 p.m.
Come to one of our movie showings in Multipurpose Room B. Maximum seating for movies is 36. First come, first serve.
When available, screenings have captions for the hard-of-hearing. There is no fee to enjoy these popular movies and seating begins 30 minutes before the show.
NOTE: Please bundle up or bring a lap blanket with you to the movie. The room tends to be on the cooler side.
