Special message re Housing Workshops in Southern Marin

Dear Strawberry and Tam Valley/Almonte residents:

I hope you are planning to attend one of the two upcoming Housing Element workshops in Southern Marin in early May. Due to the smaller size of the workshop location at Westminster Presbyterian Church, please consider attending the workshop scheduled at the Mill Valley Community Center, a larger venue, if it works for your schedule. I’m sending this message to help ensure that everyone who wants to participate has the opportunity to do so.

Both workshops will present the same information, providing similar opportunities for involvement and input. I hope you are able to attend.

Important Notice About Upcoming Housing Element Workshops in Southern Marin locations!

Tuesday, May 6, 6:00 to 8:30 PM Mill Valley Community Center 180 Camino Alto Mill Valley, CA 94941

Saturday May 10, 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM Westminster Presbyterian Church 240 Tiburon Blvd. Tiburon, CA 94920

Due to the level of interest in housing in the Strawberry and Tam Valley communities, the County of Marin has scheduled two community workshop dates to discuss the 2014 Housing Element. This hands-on workshop will be repeated at these two locations.

The first workshop is on Tuesday, May 6 at 6:00 PM at the Mill Valley Community Center, and can accommodate up to 200 participants. The second is on Saturday May 10 at 10:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, and can accommodate up to 100 participants. NOTE: Due to the smaller capacity of the May 10 venue in Tiburon, community members are encouraged to attend the May 6 event in Mill Valley, if possible.
