Bay Bridge Closure and Transit information:

The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge will be closed from 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, through 5 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3. During that time, commuters and travelers should expect significant delays in and out of San Francisco on the Golden Gate Bridge. As a reminder, cash is no longer accepted at the GGB and there's no stopping at the GGB Toll Plaza. The bridge district moved to all-electronic tolling in March.

Golden Gate Larkspur Ferry will operate the following services:

• Thursday, Aug. 29: WEEKDAY schedules
• Friday, Aug. 30: WEEKDAY schedules, PLUS a late-night round trip
• Saturday, Aug. 31 & Sunday, Sept. 1: WEEKEND/HOLIDAY schedules, PLUS ADDED afternoon and late-night service
• Monday, Sept. 2: WEEKEND/HOLIDAY schedules

Golden Gate Sausalito Ferry will operate the following services:

• Thursday & Friday: WEEKDAY schedules
• Saturday, Sunday & Monday: WEEKEND/HOLIDAY schedules, PLUS ADDED service for the Sausalito Art Festival

Golden Gate Transit will operate the following services:

• Thursday & Friday: WEEKDAY schedules
• Saturday, Sunday & Monday: WEEKEND/HOLIDAY schedules
