County of Marin, California sent this bulletin at 08/09/2013 03:28 PM PDT
I wanted the Southern Marin community to be aware that Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) anticipates the release of the final Marin Equestrian Stables Plan and Environmental Assessment
in late August 2013. There will be a public presentation on September 4th -
The stables included in the plan are:
• Golden Gate Dairy stables, currently operated by Ocean Riders of Marin
• Rodeo Valley stables, currently operated by The Presidio Riding Club
• Tennessee Valley stables, operated by Miwok Stables, and
• Lower Tennessee Valley stables, currently the National Park Service Horse Patrol operations.
Public Presentation
GGNRA will host a public presentation to describe the final plan and the future of the stables in GGNRA's Marin lands. The presentation will be held:
Wednesday, September 4, 2013
4:30 to 6:30 PM
Tamalpais Community Center
203 Marin Avenue (near Tennessee Valley Road)
Mill Valley, CA
NPS will notify the public when the final plan and FONSI (Finding of No Significant Impact) are released.
