Energy Watch Program

The Board will consider executing an agreement with the Pacific Gas and Electric Company in order to accept $2.1 million in funds towards the Marin Energy Watch Partnership.  This program provides energy efficiency services and incentives to residents, businesses, and public agencies throughout Marin County.  The Energy Watch Partnership between PG&E and the County of Marin has been ongoing since 2006 and very successful, resulting in numerous completed energy-efficiency projects countywide. The funds, which pass through PG&E, are provided by the California Public Utilities Commission from the utility ratepayer Public Goods Charge.
