GOPHERS in TAM VALLEY?

 

 Supervisor Kate Sears here with information about Gopher control for residents of Tam Valley. Please read the meeting information below.

 Marin County Flood Control is hosting a Gopher Control Workshop in Tam Valley similar one recently held in Santa Venetia.

 

Here are a few quick facts about the Tam Valley Gopher Control Workshop:

 What :  Gopher Control Workshop to inform the immediate residents on managing gophers on their properties.

Goal: To prevent migration of gophers from private properties to the levee maintained by Marin County Flood Control.

When: Saturday, May 19th - 2pm to 4pm.

Where: Tam Valley Elementary School

Who: Roger Baldwin Ph.D.  (Roger is the UC Cooperative Extension IPM Wildlife Pest Management Advisor. He will be the presenter. After the presentation Roger will be demonstrating different methods of gopher control at Coyote Creek Levee).

NOTE:  Marin County Flood Control staff, Bene Da Silva and Gina Purin will also be at the event.
