RECAP: Senator McGuire Town Hall feat. State Office of Emergency Services
On Tuesday evening, Senator Mike McGuire hosted a virtual event called “Coronavirus Town Hall: Slowing the Spread, Distributing the Vaccine.” The event included McGuire, Dr. Timothy Brewer from the University of California Los Angeles Fielding School of Public Health, and Lori Nezhura, Deputy Director Planning, Preparedness and Prevention from California’s Office of Emergency Services.
Rep. Huffman Hosts Town Hall with Biden COVID Advisory Board member
Join Congressman Jared Huffman for a virtual town hall on COVID-19 vaccinations with special guests Dr. Robert Rodriguez, a member of the Biden Transition COVID-19 Advisory Board; Dr. Sundari Mase, Sonoma County Public Health Officer; Dr. Matt Willis, Marin County Public Health Officer; and a representative from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Rep. Huffman and his special guests will discuss the deployment of the COVID-19 vaccines and what constituents of California's Second District can expect in the months ahead.
