GETTING THE COVID-19 VACCINE:
Doors open to those age 75+
Please Share Widely:
Many of you have contacted our office with questions about the COVID-19 vaccine, how the available doses are being distributed in Marin County, and where and when you can get one. The vaccine roll-out has been a challenge, but our County Public Health and Marin medical providers are making progress. We’d like to offer resources to answer some of your questions and let you know how you can sign up to receive the most current information about vaccinations and COVID-19 in general.
So far, over 11,000 Marin residents have received at least one dose of vaccine; this is in addition to thousands more Marin-based health care workers who live in other counties but care for Marin residents. Up next are Marin’s approximately 25,000 residents who are age 75 or above. In parallel with that effort, vaccination of any remaining eligible health care workers and residents of long-term care facilities will continue. Read on for more details.
