Marin County Parks – Tell us what you think!

Marin County Parks cares for 34 open space preserves and 43 parks across 16,000 acres within Marin County. We want to hear from you about your priorities for Marin’s parks and open spaces. Tell us what you think by completing this short Survey. By completing this survey, you will help develop a long-term strategy and future investments for your parks and open spaces. The survey closes March 25.

Looking to become a Firewise USA Community?

FIRESafe MARIN is hosting a 2019 Firewise USA Workshop on March 8 from 9-11am in Novato at the Marin Valley Community Center (100 Marin Valley Drive) for neighborhood leaders and organizers interested in initiating a Firewise USA effort in their community. This workshop is intended to introduce resident leaders to the Firewise USA program and provide resources and networking opportunities for potential Firewise sites. Representatives will be on-hand from Marin's fire agencies, land management agencies, PG&E, and other parties who routinely interact with residents and communities at risk of wildfire.

If you are already an existing Firewise USA community, you are encouraged to attend by tabling to share your experiences with potential new folks. Email Todd Lando to coordinate: toddlando@firesafemarin.org.

Workshops specifically for homeowner preparedness and residents looking for wildfire safety tips will begin spring 2019. Class opportunities will be listed on the FIRESafe MARIN Website as they become available.
