Democracy Cafe - End Gun Violence

Come to Democracy Cafe for an afternoon of art, music and talks with friends and neighbors.

This month the focus will be on how to end gun violence.

I have been invited to be the keynote speaker. Joining me will be young activists discussing ideas to end gun violence. Young singer/songwriters Kayla Campbell, Emma Spike and Roan Pearl will also perform songs on the theme.

Participants are welcome to make their own political signs for upcoming rallies such as ‘March for our Lives’ — or create posters about social change for Democracy Cafe's new parade float.

Please carpool, rideshare, bike or walk with others!

RSVP here: democafe.eventbrite.com

(Donations are welcome to help pay for event costs.)

  • 2:00 pm - Create your own signs for the March for Our Lives rally
  • 2:30 pm - Make posters on social justice for Democracy Cafe's new Art Float
