Tam Junction Bicycle & Pedestrian Improvement Project Set to Begin Next Week

I am reaching out to members of the Tamalpais Valley community to let you know thT the Tam Junction Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvement Project is set to begin.

Residents and visitors in the area will begin to see construction equipment and staging next week, after the Memorial Day holiday. Construction activity will occur at night due to necessary lane closures, ongoing heavy daily traffic demands and to assure worker safety.

The advisory is also posted on the Transportation Authority of Marin website. Schedule updates wil be provided as they become available. The project will have a full-time, on site Construction Manager while the work is being done. Day and evening contact phone numbers are provided on the information sheet.

We look forward to closing this gap in the bicycle and pedestrian network at this heavily trafficked junction.
